All table saws need an on/off switch. Our product design firm just thought it would improve safety to put it where the user can easily turn the unit off without removing hands from the wood. Sometimes the simplest innovations are the best. But Bresslergroup and Black & Decker (Towson, Maryland) product designers and engineers were also able to improve overall appearance and cut assembly time in half.
