Bre Stachowski
Mechanical Engineer

Bre got hooked on design when she attended a Women in Engineering event during her senior year of high school and saw a video about product development.

She likes how troubleshooting engineering challenges gives her a greater appreciation for the things she interacts with every day. Prior to joining Bresslergroup, she gained experience interning in both consultancy and in-house design environments, including at Radio Flyer and Fisher-Price.

With a background in both design and engineering, Bre focuses on the early stages of the development process at Bresslergroup, including benchmarking, analysis, and testing of early prototypes. She thinks of her work as integrating design thinking into the early engineering phases.

Bre has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Industrial Design from Notre Dame where she received awards during student design competitions, including for an easy-to-clean kids’ high-chair and a snow shovel that reduces back injuries. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., she is no stranger to hardy winters — or to Sabres and Bills fandom. She doesn’t stay on the sidelines for long — outside of work you can find her riding her Kawasaki Ninja and playing floor hockey and flag football.
