Seth believes you can always design and engineer a product to function as well or better while simultaneously improving its environmental impact.
As the leader of Bresslergroup’s sustainability efforts, he helps clients understand how their decisions both large and small impact the global ecosystem.
Seth applies his training in Life Cycle Analysis and his expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) and optimization to guide clients toward sustainability strategies. The solutions are different each time but are always based on the same framework and enhanced by his growing knowledge base. His projects have won numerous patents and awards, and he writes and presents regularly on sustainability issues in product development.
Seth earned a BS in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to his 14 years of consulting experience, he is a student in the first ever Masters in Biomimicry program at Arizona State. He was also hand selected for a prestigious two-year professional fellowship taught by the founders of the field. He lives just south of Missoula in Hamilton, Montana, where he snowboards, hikes, rock-climbs, and generally enjoys the environment he’s helping to sustain.
