Production Followup

This last of our new product development stages covers the transition from documentation through tooling and product part production. As part of that transition we work with the production team to review files with tooling vendors, as well as reviewing first parts. Bresslergroup design team members assist with the implementation of design changes after release of approved files, or adjustments resulting from decisions by toolmaker, or suppliers or required by component changes or unforeseen events.

Our new product development stages provide the last opportunity to tweak the product design to improve performance and aesthetics. In some cases, during even this late new product development stage, the development team identifies opportunities for cost savings or feature enhancement. The key to success during this stage is to work closely as a team to maintain design intent while making final improvements to the new product.
