David Schiff

Dave has 24 years experience in design and development of consumer, medical and industrial products. He is a strong team leader unusually skilled in engineering problem solving with sensitivity for human factors and appealing design. Dave's specialties include design for manufacture, mechanism design and analysis, finite element analysis, pneumatic and electromechanical devices, and he is proud to hold 26 patents.

Dave is adept at the use of SolidWorks and CosmosWorks for engineering design, development and analysis. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, supplemented by graduate study in Industrial Design at the Philadelphia College of Art, and Psychology of Creativity at the University of Delaware. He received an IDEA Gold award (1992) and was a Medical Design Excellence award finalist (1998). Dave has spoken at various conferences including: Cimquest 2010 Symposium, IDSA National Conference and others.
