Mathieu Turpault Featured in Core77 Article on Medical Device Design Trends

Core77 interviewed Managing Partner and Director of Design, Mathieu Turpault, for its article, “Materials Matter: How Consumer Expectations and Sustainability Are Shaping Medical Device Design for the Future.”

Founded in 1970 as “Designs for Medicine,” Bresslergroup has medical device design in its DNA. Our approach is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of the history of the field while looking toward new opportunities in material and technology innovation.

One trend noted by Mathieu is that new models of healthcare delivery are demanding new product solutions. “Care is shifting away from traditional hospitals and doctors’ offices and moving more toward home care or point of care,” Mathieu told writer, LinYee Yuan. Another is the expansion beyond traditional physical product design to enable richer user experiences. But a product’s tactile experience remains important even, and especially, cautioned Mathieu, when it incorporates digital solutions.
