CFM sells wafer washer systems to computer chip fabrication facilities - a highly specialized environment loaded with very expensive processing equipment. The system washes silicon wafers between etching processes and costs over $1 million. So the challenge to our industrial design firm was to make the system look as good as it worked through user needs analysis and industrial design.
