Vendor Sourcing

The team at VIDAR assumed leadership in finding and coordinating with prototype and production vendors. They had a range of existing relationships with suppliers who manufactured parts and assemblies for their large document scanners. Bresslergroup team members worked closely with VIDAR and their vendors to determine the most effective production methodologies. As a result, there are a variety of manufacturing processes employed in the VXR, SIERRA and across the product line. Our strategy has been to keep capital expenditures in check by using less tooling intensive processes: stampings, wireform, structural foam, and RIM among others. This approach has lead to cost effective production of high quality parts. And not being bogged down by capital investment, VIDAR has the ability to respond quickly to market opportunities and evolve the product line as the market requires.
