Our team had worked closely in the past with the group GRT-Mars, a New Jersey based injection molder with metal working holdings in Taiwan. We introduced GRT to Cutco due to their ability to turn out high quality product at reasonable prices. Cutco traditionally manufactures at their Olean, New York facility, but the new scoop incorporated metal casting and plating processes, which Cutco did not have in house. Cutco did produce the cheese knife domestically. So the Bresslergroup engineering team worked closely with both parties through the engineering and implementation phases to ensure that parts were detailed based on each groups preferred / best practices.
