Introduction
It’s not enough for a breakthrough product to be developed and launched. It has to happen fast in order to fully capitalize on the market opportunity. That’s why KidSmart came to Bresslergroup. They knew our history of innovation and were convinced we were the right development partner based on our full service capabilities – from user research, industrial design and POS packaging, electrical and mechanical engineering, and production sourcing and coordination. We started developing their new Vocal Smoke Detector from scratch in October 2003 and delivered first parts in May 2005.The product, a smoke detector that allows parents to record their own voice message to wake sleeping children has, received rave reviews from press, consumers and fire fighters and is in high demand.
