Brett appreciates that electrical engineering seems like magic from the outside, but in actuality it falls under a set of rules and constraints.
At Bresslergroup, Brett is responsible for electrical hardware design and embedded firmware development. His areas of expertise include circuit design, circuit protection, and PCB layout. He helps clients translate ideas into technical requirements and assists from proof-of-concept through product delivery.
Brett realized he wanted to be an engineer when he was working in a biochemistry lab and was more interested in the equipment than the experiments. That realization led him to earn a BS in Bioengineering from Syracuse University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Brett can be found playing guitar and designing audio circuits. He is endlessly curious about history and says there’s always more to learn and another perspective to discover. Fortunately, one of his hidden talents is speed reading.
