Before coming to Bresslergroup, Caroline wrote about design as an author and journalist, contributing to national publications and writing a few books along the way.
At Bresslergroup she directs strategy that span the marketing funnel, including the company’s digital marketing, thought leadership, marketing ops, and comms. She has led the launch of several platforms including Bresslergroup’s blog; email marketing; website redesign; and its signature video series, Design Defined. As a former journalist, she enjoys finding new and different ways to tell stories that shine a spotlight on and lend context to her talented colleagues’ impactful work.
Caroline studied English and Art History at the University of Pennsylvania, and received a certificate in Design Writing and Research from the School of Visual Arts. Before coming to Bresslergroup she worked in magazine and book publishing and as an independent writer and editorial consultant. Her writing has appeared in many publications including Dwell, Metropolis, Entrepreneur and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Outside of work she likes to run, spend time with her family, and support design in Philadelphia through her participation on DesignPhiladelphia’s steering committee.
