At age three, Carter disassembled his wooden horse using only a butter knife. His love for breaking and building things only grew from there.
As a mechanical engineer, Carter enjoys working in the wide gulf between ideation and manufacturing. He came to Bresslergroup with experience in many different product categories, from consumer to medical.
Carter also has an interest in business strategy and spent some time in the startup space. He views projects through a multifaceted lens made up of design, human interaction, manufacturing, and business perspectives.
The only Utahn on staff, Carter earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. He couldn’t have predicted as an undergrad how insanely cool it would be to run into people who actually know or have used a product he helped design.
When he’s not in the office, Carter loves to drive and work on race cars. He mostly races in the Spec Miata class, but one of his favorite side projects was helping run a 90s Formula 1 car.
