Clara appreciates the unseen aspects of electrical devices — an unassuming, plain box can pack a huge punch with the power of code and intelligent sensors.
At Bresslergroup, Clara works with a blend of hardware and firmware. She has contributed to Bluetooth Low Energy devices, designed automated test fixtures to capture product data, performed initial feasibility research for new products, assisted with schematic design and PCB layout, and more. She recognizes that sometimes the best solution is the most out-of-the-box, wacky idea, and sometimes it’s the one that’s sitting right in front of you.
Clara realized she wanted to pursue engineering after competing in FIRST Robotics Competitions, where she discovered a love for high-energy competitions, varied problems, and nuanced parameters. She holds Bachelor’s Degre in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
Clara is a self-proclaimed outdoors nerd. She spends her free time backpacking with her dog, whitewater kayaking, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. She’s also notorious for her random art and science experiments.
