For Dan, there’s a visceral appeal to embedded software engineering. He gets to solve programming and logic questions while working closely with physical, tangible devices.
At Bresslergroup, Dan is responsible for writing the code that makes embedded devices function. He engineers ways to make computers perform the tasks clients want. He is driven by a desire to solve problems elegantly.
Dan knew he wanted to pursue a career in engineering after participating in FIRST® LEGO® League in middle school. He considered electrical engineering or computer programming before finding a happy middle ground: computer engineering. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
Outside of work, Dan can be found working on programming side projects; playing video games and tabletop roleplaying games, like Dungeons and Dragons; and thinking about tabletop roleplaying games.
