For David, seeing the finished product in a customer’s hands makes the product design journey worthwhile.
David’s diverse background helps him tackle a wide range of projects and challenges. He has experience in supply chain manufacturing and design support for Fortune 100 customers; consumer goods design for big box clients, product development for hand held electronics, and more. He has worked as a project manager, mechanical engineer, and account manager.
His appreciation for product design started in undergrad, when he was tasked with designing a wheelchair for a Paralympic athlete. It was a lesson in understanding unique user needs and creating a tool to minimize constraints. Another favorite and more recent project was redesigning a Nielsen-Kellerman handheld weather meter, which involved refreshing a flagship platform without alienating several niche markets.
David has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel. Outside of work, you can find him playing with his kids, running, and playing soccer.
