What Leroy enjoys most about engineering is its potential for positive impact.
It’s fitting, then, that his favorite Bresslergroup project was developing a haptic vest designed to translate music into vibrations to give the deaf community a new kind of concert experience. The accelerated pace of that project and the novelty of the idea added to Leroy’s excitement. It’s that enthusiasm for a challenge that drives his passion for his work.
Leroy earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in mechanical design, mechatronic systems design and analysis, and robotics and control theory. His experience with robotics helps him blend mechanical, electrical, and computer science functions into cohesive designs.
Outside of work, you might find Leroy playing sports or guitar, watching local theater and international sports, or building robots.
