Rob cares deeply about end users and clients; he brings an empathetic approach to brainstorming, design, and engineering.
At Bresslergroup, Rob contributes to both hardware and software development. He often assists with hardware selection, circuit design, and software functionality. His areas of expertise include creative problem solving, human-centered design, and early-stage prototyping. He enjoys finding non-obvious answers and believes you can never get enough user feedback — the trick is balancing what users say, do, think, and feel.
Rob realized he wanted to be an engineer in high school, after working as an audio technician for musicals and concerts. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware. Rob also earned a Master’s Degree in Music Engineering from the University of Miami.
Outside of work, Rob can be found running, climbing, and cycling. He used to be a bicycle mechanic, and he still builds and works on his own bikes regularly. He can also be found illustrating, competing in hardware hacking competitions, and honing his hidden talent (picking locks).
