As a kid, Steven’s favorite book was a leather-bound machinist’s handbook, and he preferred manuals and technical documents to novels or poetry.
Steven’s father was an engineer, so he grew up driven to find solutions — working on cars, boats, and miscellaneous projects. His love for engines drove him to study automotive technology, which led to a career in Electrical Engineering (EE).
At Bresslergroup, Steven oversees our EE lab. He makes sure all the necessary tools and supplies are on hand, designs programs to test prototypes, and supports electronics assembly. His areas of expertise include hybrid microelectronics assembly, RF electronics testing and tuning, and process improvement. He loves being able to exercise creative thinking, use his hands, and see functional results. It’s satisfying to know that somewhere down the line, a customer will experience the quality of his work, though they may never actually see it.
When he’s not at work, Steven spends his free time with his wife and daughter. He loves the outdoors and is an avid mountain biker — he raced competitively for six years. He also plays golf, basketball, and the drums, and he occasionally gigs as a singer and guitar player.
