Chris Murray Talks Color at IDSA Northeast

We’ve turned Design Manager Chris Murray’s session, “Grounding Color Decisions in User Research: Moving from Emotional Decisions to Rational Thinking,” from the IDSA’s 2013 Northeast District Design conference into a webinar. In it Murray talks about recent research that debunks preconceived notions and suggests industrial designers are best off approaching color rationally via consumer personae and other analytic methods. He illustrates his points using several case studies that also show how materials and finishes can effectively signal a product line’s hierarchy of good, better, and best.
