As part of Philly Tech Week 2019, Bresslergroup is excited to present IoT Demo Night: Feel the Vibrations, on Thursday, May 9th, from 6-9 p.m.
This event marks the Philadelphia debut of Music: Not Impossible (M:NI), the innovative wearable created to provide an inclusive concert experience for deaf and hearing fans by translating music into tactile vibrations. M:NI was introduced in September 2018 during a concert for a largely deaf audience at the Church of Rock and Roll in Las Vegas. It has since been experienced by limited audiences around the country. Music: Not Impossible will also make an appearance on the Demo Floor at the daylong conference, Introduced by Technical.ly, also on May 9th, from 9-11 a.m. These will be Philadelphia’s first opportunities to “feel the vibrations.”
This event marks the Philadelphia debut of Music: Not Impossible, the innovative wearable created to provide an inclusive concert experience for deaf and hearing fans by translating music into tactile vibrations.
Along with the Bresslergroup engineers who helped with M:NI’s development, Daniel Belquer, Director of Technology for Not Impossible Labs, will talk about the product’s whirlwind five-month journey from proof-of-concept to scalable system. Demos will follow the presentation.
M:NI has been covered by Billboard, Forbes, Rolling Stone and named one of CES 2019’s “best wearables” by PC Mag. Belquer and Mick Ebeling, CEO and Founder of Not Impossible Labs, recently received a Tribeca Disruptive Innovation award for the Music: Not Impossible technology. Music: Not Impossible is currently on display at the Chicago Museum of Science + Industry as part of its “Wired To Wear” exhibition. Not Impossible Labs continue to explore how the Vibrotextile™ technology used in Music: Not Impossible can improve people’s lives across a multitude of applications, including health and wellbeing.
Other demos at IoT Demo Night: Feel the Vibrations will include HelmetFit’s football helmet inflation system; Phlex EDGE, a swimming fitness tracker; Rachio 3’s smart sprinkler controller; and Victor’s SmartKill and VLink rodent control solutions (consumer and commercial mouse traps). Representatives from Bresslergroup’s IoT tech partners — including SemTech, ST Microelectronics, Microchip Technology, Cypress Semiconductor, and Nordic Semiconductor — will be on hand to talk about the components provided for this wide range of IoT products and many others.
Please join us for the demos, food and drink, and mingling with other IoT pros. Space is limited, so register to reserve your spot!
