Seth GaleWyrick Talks Biomimicry + Innovation at WeWork Portland

Senior Mechanical Engineer and Sustainable Design Specialist, Seth GaleWyrick, shared his expertise about the emerging field of biomimicry in a talk at WeWork Custom House (220 NW 8th Ave., PDX) on September 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m.

In “How Does Biomimicry Drive Innovation?,” Seth introduced the audience to the methodology of biomimicry. He shared a wide range of successful implementations and provided actionable ideas and inspiration for how the tools can help product development professionals adapt solutions vetted during 3.8 billion years of natural R&D.

In addition to his 14 years of consulting experience, Seth is a student in the first ever Masters in Biomimicry program at Arizona State. He was also hand-selected for a prestigious two-year professional fellowship taught by the founders of the field. One of his favorite activities is sharing his passion for biomimicry with audiences around the country.

Based in Philadelphia, Bresslergroup has an outpost at WeWork Custom House in Portland, Oregon, one of a global network of workspaces using for coworking and flexible office space. Seth’s talk was supported by Bresslergroup and Biomimicry 3.8.
