As a life-sustaining business, Bresslergoup has qualified for an exemption from the state of Pennsylvania regarding applicability of its COVID-19 orders to shutter all non-essential businesses.
As per a letter dated March 30th from the office of Governor Wolf, ” … it has been determined that [Bresslergroup] … plays a critical role in the manufacture and supply of goods and services necessary to sustain life, and may continue to operate at the physical location.”
In addition, “In-person work at a business site is only to be performed on the most limited basis possible to deliver the services or goods of your life-sustaining business.”
Because Bresslergroup operates first out of a concern for the health of our employees and the greater community, we view this permission from the state to re-open our office as a privilege to be handled with extreme care.
Our focus moving forward at our physical location will be limited to tasks including accessing special prototyping and testing equipment in our on-site shop and lab that could not be transported to our remote locations.
On-site work will be implemented on a purely as-needed basis for the work we continue to do for clients including major medical device OEMs, major universities and hospital systems, and hygiene and healthcare product manufacturers.
We commit to maintaining safe practices, including hosting the bare minimum of staff necessary to complete the tasks at hand. The large majority of our 75-person staff continues to work seamlessly from their homes.
