Tech in Motion Philadelphia has chosen Bresslergroup as a finalist for this year’s Best Tech Work Culture category as it prepares for the third Annual Timmy Awards, which recognizes the top workplaces for tech professionals in the Philadelphia area.
“Scaling our business and culture has perhaps been Bresslergroup’s biggest design challenge since the company was founded more than 45 years ago,” says Mathieu Turpault, Managing Partner and Director of Design. “Since 2014 we’ve more than doubled in size, taking over an entire floor of a downtown manufacturing building — and then another floor.
As we’ve grown from small family to mid-sized company, we’ve managed to carry over the essence of what makes us Bresslergroup: We are curious, clever and confident. We encourage constant learning, close collaboration, and our employees’ creative pursuits. And we create opportunities for everyone to play as hard as they work. We take pride in our culture, and we’re thrilled to be recognized for it by Tech in Motion.”

“It is an honor to celebrate the companies who are striving to better the lives and workplaces of their tech teams,” says Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Tech in Motion. “As the event series grows each year, we are excited to celebrate the diversity, innovation and growth in the community — which we recognize is represented by these finalists whether or not they walk home with an award.”
Philadelphia’s local community can get involved by voting online to help determine which company is crowned the best in tech. Winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges and communal votes. The complete list of Philadelphia’s 2018 Timmy Awards finalists include four “Best Tech” award categories: Startup, Manager, Work Culture and Workplace for Diversity.
Philadelphia’s 2018 Timmy Awards will be held on October 9th at the Science History Institute. This free event is open to the public and will consist of tech demos, entertainment and networking as well as presentations from Philadelphia’s top tech leaders.
